Caribbean Kids and Families Therapy Organisation was founded in 2008 in Port of Spain, Trinidad by a mother of a child with special needs and an Occupational Therapist.
Today, CKFTO brightens the lives of more than 100 children each month providing them with much needed therapy. With your help, we can continue to provide therapy to those children that need it the most, helping them achieve their goals one day at a time. Each day is an opportunity to make a difference.
CKFTO brings together experts from paediatric health care; technology and entertainment to create programs that help brighten the lives of children and their families. Unlike any other charity, CKFTO offers a comprehensive menu of outpatient, school based and Camp offerings that enable us to provide ongoing therapy for children and families - from assessments through the entire course of therapy.
To provide affordable, professional and empathetic therapeutic services to children ages birth to twenty-one with special needs; to provide support and empowerment to families of children with special needs and to educate and involve the community of Trinidad and Tobago in creating an open and caring society for all persons with special needs.
To see that all people, regardless of their abilities, are given equal opportunities as valuable, innovative citizens playing an important role in creating a caring society.
